I have raised 3 panthers to almost 1ft each, for one to get 2 ft must have took quite a long time, mine took 2 years to reach 8 inches, but yes if one were to reach 2 feet i would would require a very large tank. IMO
if i had a fish that reached even 1.5 feet i would probably adopt to to someone else, there is no need to have a 200g tank with one fish, what a waste of space, i personally like a lot of variety in my tank so i could not sacrifice that much space for one single fish.
