I still wouldn't use it. 1.5-2lbs of LR per gallon and a good skimmer is all you need for filtration

Yes. Add the base rock and LR to your tank and then start your cycle and by the time your cycle is done it will all be LR.

I would have at least 2 powerheads.

Astrea, margarita and cerith snails are great. If you are going to go with a small grain sand bed then you can have some nassarius snails that will help keep your sand bed turned.

yeah i read that it is better then live sand but who knows im kinda in debate about this whole aggressive tank idkif im going to enjoy just having like two lionfish in there

You do what makes you happy and fits in your budget. Just remember...once you go reef you never go back.

oh most def do i want some corals i guess ill start FOWRL and then slowly start going to reef, i do like the lionfish but i def think i'd get bored watching one and nothing else. thanks
