New Yellow Dottyback

I just introduce a Yellow Dottyback today. The minute I released him from the net he made like a jet and burrowed himself into the sand substrate... Has anyone has this issue? I also added a blue chromie. He did just fine and joined the the rest of the pack. Please let me know if any I you have experienced this. Thx

Plenty of fish will hide or bury a while when first added. I've had wrasses that buried first couple of days before. I have a Yashia goby that hid for the first three weeks I had him. Thought he was dead after a week or so of not seeing it. Now it's out front under a rock all day. Some fish seems to hide at first more than others.
