Hi everyone. I am going to order a nitrate reductor and it says that I should get an orp controller. I have been trying to understand this orp controller stuff and get ahold of everything regarding the reductor orp and it's really confusing. Does anyone out there understand this stuff?

Not sure why you need to monitor ORP. ORP is oxidation reduction potential and needs to be monitored/controlled when running ozone in the system.
What exactly are you going to get?

reductor

You can look on net under nitrate reductor and 1 main company comes up but I'm going to get a less expensive one. It is a canister with special bio balls which over time will reduce nitrates. My tank needs a larger than the one I'm going to buy, but the one I need costs over $800 and if it doesn't really work, then that's a lot of $ to waste.
