Ocellaris Clownfish question

I have always heard that having two different clownfish species in the same tank may cause some unwanted aggression. But has anyone had any issues or would it be a bad idea to have a black/white Ocellaris Clownfish and a orange/white Ocellaris Clownfish in the same tank?

Thanks

They are the same fish so it will be fine - it's mixing occ with percs that may cause aggression...

Bectan is correct. Though different color variations they are the same fish. I had a pair of b/w occ in my 55 reef. The male went carpet surfing. Just so happened that I was taking down my 36 which had an orange occ in it of very small size. They happily paired up and are still doing well to this day.

I always try to stay away from mixing but if you have anemones or corals that the clowns may host the agression level will decrease most likely
