Ocellaris Clowns: The world's worst swimmers

I was watching my clowns the other day and I got to thinking. How the heck do these guys survive in nature? They are such horrible swimmers and they are so slow! Plus their maniacle swimming behavior must use up a ton of energy. I mean, they swim like crazy in their sleep! I have never seen such in efficent behavior in nature. No wonder they stuff themselves to the max at feeding time.

Ya, they are pretty entertaining.

This is the purpose of the clown/anenome relationship. Clowns are nearly never found in the ocean with out an anenome within very close quarters. The reason is that those whom cant find an anenome to host in will get eaten fairly quick.

They swim slow but they always eat the most amount others, at least in my tank.
