Aquarium Advice Addict
Well actually I'm going to a Microsoft certification boot camp for the next two weeks. It's about time I got the certifications to go along with my experience and title.
While I'm away I have friend coming over to feed my livestock and keep the evaporation drip tank full.
Of course today I noticed that my skimmer isn't producing the bubbles it should. If I shake the skimmer pump a bit, the bubble output does increase for a bit. I have to hit the road and don't have time to take it apart to clean it right now. That means unless I give Michelle instructions on cleaning the pump the PS might be offline for the next two weeks. I'm assuming that will be ok as long as she doesn't overfeed.
I told her to come here for advice if she notices anything unusual.
Current tank setup is:
125 gal FOwLR (2/15/03)
DSB 5"-6" (Southdown added 3/1/03)
Acqua Clear Aquatics 125 trickle filter without bio balls
2 Hagen 802 powerheads
2 - 30w fluorescents (FW30T8-AR-TS)
1 Coralife aqualight PC 1-96w 10k; 1 96w -03
Mag7 pump in sump
300w heater in the sump. 200w in overflow as backup (set lower)
25w Coralife UV sterilizer
50 lbs of base rock (added 2/22/03)
95 lbs of LR (50# added 2/22/03, 45# added 3/4/03)
1400VA UPS
1x Green Chromis - (Chromis viridis)
1x Coral Beauty Angel - (Centropyge bispinosus)
2x True Percula Clownfish - (Amphiprion percula)
1x Firefish, Purple (Nemateleotris decora)
1x Bicolor Blenny (Ecsenius bicolor)
1x Foxface Lo (Siganus vulpinus)
1x Sailfin Tang (Zebrasoma veliferum)

50+ snails (assorted but who can count them)
