I have been using a Ph buffer to keep my ph between 8.2 and 8.4 is there any way to keep my ph up without adding the buffer at every water change?

Water out of my tap is between 7.6 and 7.8

Saltwater is a buffer. I just add sw mix and it will buffer water to at least 8.2 ime.
