Picky eater

My fire fish goby won't eat the pellets I feed him he used to eat it the pellets are new life spectrum and the other one is omega one I hear they are good brands but he eats and the spits out but he does eat brine shrimp it is the San fransico bay brand I don't know if that's enough protein for him please help what is wrong with him

If he's spitting it back out the pellets are probably to large. Try nls small fish formula

Yeah I notice when I feed my tank some of the smaller fish tend to eat/chew something up, spit it out then re-eat the smaller pieces they have just broken up.
Also I try to feed live or frozen food rather then pellets, as they tend to have to many phosphates in them.
