so... what do you do when you've done too good of a job providing nooks and crannies and caves that you can't catch a fish to seperate a couple of squabling blue damsels??? hmmm...
 
break out the fishing rod?(lol). seriously though,try catching one at feeding time,there too distracted to care sometimes
 
I used to rinse and strain my frozen fish food with my fish net. They get so used to it being around that when I went to catch the troublesome damsels, they basically swim in!

You can always buy damsel X...

Edit: that was a joke.
 
If you can't get them at feeding time, try at night after you turn the lights off. You can use a small flashlight that won't bother them too much. Another option if your tank is relatively small is to drain a large majority of the water out.
