We've had this pair for about 4-5 months & I noticed the bigger one is getting a bit of a gut. It's hard to get good photos of it but will keep trying. Could it possibly be pregnant?ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1399089259.290062.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1399089279.660032.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1399089356.355842.jpg

No they lay eggs and then the male externally fertilizes them. If they start cleaning a rock off then try will breed.

Oh I knew they lay eggs...but could it be possible she has eggs right now? Or is that even how it works? Lol

She just looks chunky but check in the next few days to see if they start clearing a spot. She could be gravid.
