I have a 55g corner FOWLR but only have 15lbs of LR. It is sitting behind my Insert I got from Instant Reef. The tank has been setup since January and I have not had any issues with any levels. Now my question is, if I decide to add another 10-15lbs of cured LR what would be the plus on this? Would it matter if I added more LR or would it not.

Doesn't matter, most people say that the more live rock, the better(I would still precure the rock again just to be on the safe-side)

I'd go with dry base rock 1/3 the cost and no problem hitch hikers. In a few of months you wont be able to tell it apart. Rule of thumb is 1-1.5 lbs per gallon.

Yes just keep in mind with live rock your paying for water weight My rule is 1lb dry = 1.5 live.
