purhcased megaflow sump filtration

My husband and I went to lfs today and bought 75g predrilled tank with stand. The employee also recommended "Megaflow sump fitration 2" which goes under tank in cabinet. He also recommended "Coral Life super skimmer 125", and also "supreme magnetic drive utiility pump 12". We bought all of this now I am wanting your opinions if this good quality filtration devices? Should I return/exchange for another brand?

I had previous post about my husband wanting to get canister filter, protein skimmer, and etc... Well the guy that was helping us talked him out of that stuff and explained to him how a sump works. I was really impressed with him.

Thanks.

Sump is a great idea because anytime you can increase your total water volume the better.
The skimmer is a good skimmer and I have heard many good reviews. I have a mag pump and love it. I am not sure what a "Megaflow sump fitration 2" is so I cannot comment.
Welcome to AA!

I probably would have gone with the Megaflow 3 sump. The 2 might be a little undersized, but give it a try. You can get all the specs and pictures on the All Glass website for anyone who wants to check it out.

Ditto on the Magflow pump. Seriously go as big as you can get.
