QT question
No problems so far, but I was wondering if I should add my maxi jet 600 ( an extra PH) to my QT? Ive been reading mixed reviews about having a PH in a QT and want to make sure I have the best possible situation going on even though there havent been any problems.
I was a bit worried about circulation / O2 exchange since the little HOB that came with it doesnt agitate the surface much. Just curious to see if you guys think this is neccessary for a QT or if it'd be too much circulation, especially for a smaller fish.

More circulation is never a bad thing. I always have a ph in the qt when I use it.

Adding a ph is fine, but probably not necessary. As long as your qt top is not enclosed (overly emphasized) there shouldn't be any major pH implications; although, I personally prefer a rigid airline tubing addition when medicating.
