Red slime

How do I get rid of red slime in my tank that's on my sand bed?

I would recommend getting a good clean up crew. The best price I've been able to find are from these guys Reef Cleaners| Clean up Crews and Macroalgae , and they even throw in some extras. I started using RO water and got a cleanup crew and it cleared my problem with diatoms and red slime right up.

How long has the tank been set up? It's common to go through this stage during the first year a tank is setup. I had it really bad but I just keep cleaning and doing water changes and it went away on its own in a few weeks.
