They are a little more difficult and do well under medium light. I keep my rics in medium to high lighting with moderate flow.
Rics will accept small meaty foods but take a long time to consume it so keep the food theives away. But I haven't fed my rics in months and they are doing good. They don't need to be fed to do good as long as the lighting requirement is met.
