i read that 1.020 - 1.025 is where too am for so iv been keeping it around 1.022-1.023 iv also read that for a reef nothing under 1.025, so what should i be aiming for?

I have been keeping mine at the same as you for almost a year now and it's fine but temp plays a role also so 80F is mine

I see no reason, whether FO, FOWLR or Reef to break from the natural reef salinities (35 ppt @ 82*F).

This is just one of those (irritating...sorry ) anal clarifications...but salinity is measured in ppt, while 1.025 would be the "natural" SG @ 82*F.
