Yea it's the heater... It's goin in the sump once it's built. The duster looks a lot better than that, in this pic there is a hermit crab next to him, kind of jumbles the pic...

So I read that I could "plant" the feather dusters foot in the substrate... So i did, and He looked comfy, and was completely opened up. We left for a few hours, came home and now he's uprooted laying on his side, still opened up though... Will he make himself comfy in the tank like nems do? Or did something rip him up? What should I expect in terms of placement of this guy? What should I do?

Nice looking duster!! Hey! I tried several times in the sand bed and it didn't work for me. I then found a little crevice for it. It seems to have to grown into that rock now and is happy!!

I hear dusters are a bit difficult to keep though. I wish you luck! Wish me luck! lol.

Had my duster for 4 months.
