Unhappy scooter blenny died

i had not seen him in a couple days, yesterday he was in the corner but did not look very good. My wife woke up to find him being eaten by the peppermint shrimp. everything in the tank is fine. the only difference is that i have been cutting back on the light due to some cyno algea. what might have caused him to go belly up?

Was he eating good? What was he eating? Can you post your water test results?

They don't eat algae. They may peck the algae in search of pods, but don't consume it.

indeed. they are carnivores. please ask on here before getting anything that you are unsure of how to take care of. fish, inverts, corals, and everything else.
