Scopas or Yellow tang?

Just trying to gather some opinions. something to keep in mind is that i currently have a purple tang and Lt. tang. the purple has been in the tank for about 3-4 months now and im going to use a large tupperware container to introduce the new tang. all suggestions and opinions are welcome

Scopas are much better looking tangs...but I would be concerned that it looks too much like the purple and they would fight to the death...same with the yellow. It is my understanding that them not looking similar is the key to them living together.

I'd rather try the scopus than the yellow. Yellow tangs are more aggressive IME, however both the body type theory and the aggression thing are hit or miss.

there in lies my problem. It's pretty well known that tangs from the same family tend to fight until a pecking order is established, often resulting in one of them dying. (this happened when i introduced the purple) so i have 2 tangs, one from the Acanthurus family and one from the Zebrasoma family. so either way i go, im going to have some fighting. ive seen numerous successful purple/yellow tang pairs that co-exist. i havent seen any scopas in with purples yet, nor have i seen any Acanthurus tangs in with a LT. tang. I would of just instantly went with a yellow, but they are fairly common, and i really like the golden hue of some of the Scopas tangs ive seen. its from my understanding that using some form of barrier to introduce them to eachother for a few days should help to ease the aggression enough that they wont kill eachother.
