My shark hatched today while I was at school. He's so cool. Now I just need to get him to eat

I'm not a saltie either but it looks like a Bamboo shark to me.

Very nice shark. I one day am going to do this also one day... Lol but ya it's a banded cat shark

Thanks guys. If anyone knows how to get him to eat please tell me

From what I've heard they can take a couple of days to get to eat bc they still have the remnants of the yolk sac attached to them and are still drAwing nutrients from it

Yea that's what I was thinking cause I still see his yolk

Iv been trying the ghost shrip but he won't eat them. And right now he's in a 30 gallon but within 3 weeks I'm moving him
Into a 180 gallon tank and I'll be looking for an even bigger tank soon

Congratulations on the shark! Mine should be hatching soon! Did he have any remnants of the yolk sac after he hatched? Right now mine has a very small ball(smaller than a skittle) and a cord attaching it to himself.

Yea. He had a small little ball about the size of a bb gun pellet. But it was right up against his body. I think it's why he won't eat yet
