Are my clowns sick ? They seem to be covered with sand and one is staying at the bottom of tank.

That's not sand, it looks like ich. There are reef safe treatments out there, I believe ick attack is one of them. Read the bottles. I know in fresh water there is a simple heat salt treatment so there may be something like that you could try. Do a google search for marine ich treatments.

I would say yes they are sick, both mine looked like that, one past away and the other survived, do you have a UV steriliser?

yeah looks like what is the result of ich parasites, they will have droped off now and started to multiply in your tank ready for the next attack, quarantine all your fish and leave tank empty for 8 weeks.
