Can I use common silicon to seal my tank? Or is there a certain one needed for fish tanks?
Thank you for your advice

LFS should also sell silicone.
Not sure if you are putting a new tank together or re-sealing an old one, but I've been told by my LFS that if you are going to apply silicone, you should completely remove the old silicone first (if any), which means dismantling the glass on the tank. Just relaying what I was told...good luck!

GE series 1200 is commonly used by tank manufacturers and repair places....and also comes in black. GE silicone 1 is also OK.
