skimmers?

Good evening yall.

I have been using a seaclone protein skimmer for several months now with absolutely no positive results. I really wish I had not listened to the only fish store in my area and done a little more research on protein skimmers before I purchased this thing.

Can anybody give me some positive advise on what skimmers are out there that will work on my 50g FO set up.

Anybody want to buy a used seaclone 100? Its cheap...

Do you have a sump or will it have to be a hangon skimmer?

I have a 55gal and use a remora pro. Works straight out of the box with no tweaking. Love it!

I also use a remora hangon with my 40b, but in my opinion it would be a little iffy with a 55g.
I also used a remora on my old 55g but it wasnt heavily stocked and it did ok.
Reef octopus makes some larger hang on skimmers though so they are worth taking a look at.

I use the reef octopus BH2000 HOB skimmer and it works great
