Spotted eel (Gymnothorax moringa) and behavior

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone who keeps one of these eels could give me some info on their behavior. I just picked one up at my LFS and he is sitting in my QT tank. His permanent home will be a 125 gallon that he will share with a volitan lion, emperor angel and snowflake eel. The tank contains around 225 pounds of live rock and between 3-4 inches of sand. Will he make a good fit in this tank? Any info will be much appreciated.

No, and thank goodness for that as I do not have 6 inches of sand. I did use Live Aquaria and another search engine to pull up pictures of the eel I purchased though. It is the Black Edge (Ocellated) Moray eel:

Guess the LFS guys misidentified it initially. I now know not to buy fish there on Friday's as the guy who buys the fish for the store is off that day. Thanks Mel.
