I was fortunate enough to come across a buddy who was getting rid of his saltwater setup. I am currently running a 29 gallon tank and inherited 35 pounds of LR, cycled water, a clown fish, a royal gramma, and 2 yellow chromies. I had already had 5 hermit crabs and was wondering how long I should wait before adding more fish (or if it is to much for now), or even some invertebrates. The previous tank had been running for about 7 years and I was wondering if more livestock is possible. Thanks for any suggestions.....

In my opinion, 4 fish is at the limit for a 29G. I wouldn't add anymore fish. Inverts would be okay, provided your nitrates are low (<10ppm).

Thanks for the replies. The nitrates are currently sitting at about 5ppm. I def want to add some more inverts, and am actually thinking about going to the lfs and seeing if i can swap in the chromies for something else possibly.
