Hello all,
My heater accidentally got unplugged yesterday when I did my water change. Just plugged it back in and am starting to heat tank back up. Been consistently at 79-80 degrees for almost nine months. Temp dropped to 73.3 degrees from approximately 5pm yesterday until 5 pm today (don't know how fast). House (ambient) temp is around 69 degrees. Inhabitants appear fine (see profile for list). Question is how quickly should I increase temp back to 79-80 degrees? 1degree per couple of hours?

Thanks in advance for advice.

Happend to me and I just turned the heater back on and let it get back to temp by heater power and all turned out fine but not sure if that's the correct way to do it

73 is low but not deadly turn your heater back on and if you really want to do a pwc and when refilling the water use water a little warmer then you normally would again i stress a little warmer ime you should be alraight
