Tentative stock list...what do you think? Any suggestions?

2 Clownfish
Butterflyfish ( not sure which one yet)
2 bengaii cardinalfish
2 cleaner shrimp
Maybe a couple hermit crabs or snails

Still debating about mushrooms. Thoughts?

I'm planning on haveing a 75 gallon FOWLR tank.

No anemones for the clownfish to host in?

Anemones arent needed, and you need serious light to keep alot happy. If you were to get an anemone, get a BTA, ocellaris clowfish will host these alot (no clown is gauranteed to host an anemone) and they dont need as much light as other anemones. As for the stock list, looks great, and if your filtration is sufficient, you could add a couple more small fish or one large show fish (like your butterfly). You could get a kole tang or tomini as they can be kept in a 75 throughout their entire life. GL!!!!!

I knew that clownfish didn't need an anemone to survive, so thats why I wasn't going to get one. I also hear they can get aggresive to protect that anemone.

Crister- Do you have any suggestions?

As for the aggression, clowns can be defensive of whatever they host. They will host something, even if it is just a piece of rock.
