In my lfs they had tiny little hermit crabs. I know I can feed them to my porcupine but not sure if I should quarantine them?

IMO i quarantine any live food i feed my puffer. I only have a green spotted puffer and right now he eats just live snails and ghost shrimp and i have a separate tank for them to make sure they are ok. Snails are a lil harder to monitor but i still wait a few a days before giving them to him. Better to be safe than sorry...

Forgot to ask but can I just put them in a Tupperware with tank water and a air stone for a few days?

Since it is a feeder I would say yes, seeing as it will end up as a meal anyway.
