Aquarium Advice Addict
As a newbie to SW I still have many questions. Just psoted one about replacing the aragonite with a DSB. Now for my top off question.
In a FOwLR (125 gallon tank, 50# base, 50# Tonga LR, 45# Fiji LR) that is just being set up do I need to use KALK for my TOW?
If not now, will I need it later?
Tank is NEW; Base and Tonga LR have been in for a week, Fiji going in Tuesday.

Current setup:
125 gal FOwLR.
100 lbs aragonite
50 lbs of base rock (Carib Sea Reef Rock)
50 lbs of LR (Tonga)
45 Lbs. LR (Aquacultured Fiji)
Acqua Clear trickle filter with bio balls
2 Hagen 802 powerheads
4 - 30w flourescents (FW30T8-AR-TS)
Rio 2500 pump from sump back to tank
300w heater in the sump.
25w Coralife UV sterilizer (connected but not in use)
