Transparent white stuff on my rock

Hello everyone, I would like to know if this is bad, white, seems like slimey stuff on my live rock, it is not spreading too fast, and seems not to grow bigger than this. Thank you in advance.

I have no idea I would wait for the experts to tell you exactly what it is. I can tell you that it is not good that is about it. Im sure you already had that thought though. It almost looks like sponge die off however that is a shot in the dark.

I want to say it looks like that start of dinoflagellates...possibly, sponges, it's kind of hard to tell.

I have no idea on specific ID, but it looks fungal to me. How long has this tank been up? Any measureable ammonia?

It's been up for 4 months now, never has had any measurable ammonia.
