Undissovled salt

I am cycling my tank.

How are you cycling it? Just setting up and let it run for a bit? Do not listen to your lfs they are wrong! I would eg a power head to keep the water moving. Try to make sure there are no dead spots on the LR. Also the salt on the lid is conductive to electricity so that is a huge major safety concern!

Yeh I read that for starting a fishless cycle I can mix the salt water in the tank itself. Won't be doing that ever again lol
Like I said all the undissolved salt is out now, and I always premix.
