I would consider myself a newbie to fowlr and want a reef. Can someone please recommend some soft coral and/or invertebrates that are colorful and easy for a newbie?

55g, 30g sump, protein skimmer, power heads (2), live rock (80), banded shrimp, fire shrimp, turbos (10), blue knuckle hermit (2), crimson hermit (5), blue/green damsel (3), yellow tail damsel (2), black and white clown, nemo clown.

What kind of lighting do you have? That will decide what you can have as far as corals.

With that light you can have LPS like frogspawn, candycane, blasto and acans they are all pretty easy. Soft corals nearly anything will work with that light. A couple I got as hitchhikers I would like to have avoided pink and green star polyps, blue cloves and xenia.
