setting up a 240g 72,24,31 tank with views from front and back. I think I'm going to do an overflow on one end with an intake/return through a bio filter. Additionally i was thinking of a closed loop returning to sea swirls.

any advice ?

I`d think about 2 overflows on a 240 gallon tank. That would have 2 return lines causing more circulation. That`s what I have on my 125.

I would look into getting a couple power heads instead of doing a closed loop. Cheaper and takes away the chance of leaks and pump problems.
