weening lions

Any advice, help, etc on how to ween juvenile lionfish off live food..?? Im having alot of trouble....mine wont eat anything that isn't alive and i tried putting krill, squid, silversides...everything; in front pf currents, wriggling it, and im currently experimenting with garlic guard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How often are you trying to feed it? If everyday I would skip a few days and try again .

Yes I tried about 3 days with frozens etc then I fed him live the next day, then tried frozen the following and failed, then the next day live

Hmmm that usually works . Can you try no food at all for a day or two or do you have other fish?

Yes. Well just a maroon for now and the lion doesn't eat what I feed him..which is odd pcause it has meaty foods and garlic in it. But I could try to skip another day or two. Any other suggestions??
