I was looking in my tank and inside a small hole there was some sort of creature inside of it. The thing looked kind of like a mouth and stayed open until I scared and it closed up really fast. I am just wondering what sort of thing this could be. The "mouth" stays open unless it is frightened then it closes. THis is the first time that I have seen anything in there like this. Anyone who can help me please do.

TIA,
Josh

Sounds like a bivalve of some sort, like a clam or a scallop. Can you get a pick?

thing in rock

...I've seen some pretty strange worms living in LR. The one I have reminds me of those sand creatures in the book "Dune". Mine's vegetarian, but that is all I know about it.

It is basically a mouth with tentacles surrounding and a tube body with legs like a millipede.
