I just got in from work, and my Halloween crab appears to make mirdered and is now eating my cleaner shrimp.....

I can't understand why, as they aren't hungry.

Please help

Have you checked your water parameters to see, maybe you have high Ammonia, Nitrites or Nitrates.

Crabs are scavengers and the shrimp may have died before your crab got a hold of it.

Do you have a test kit, what size tank, and how long have you had it running?

Do you know your pH?

Parameters will really help understand what's going on here we need numbers as well not just to be told they are good. I also believe that the shrimp may have died an got eaten or it is in fact a molt. They tend to hide quiet well when they do molt
