What is this anemone/polyp thing on my live rock? I poked it, and the tentacles retracted. I can tell it is alive, but WHAT IS IT?!?!

Its aiptasia... it will spread like wildfires. Get some aiptasia-x from your lfs to get rid of it... if you try to remove it by hand then it will spread seeds all over your tank... also it will sting any coral or fish that comes in contact with it
