What to do with removed carbon?

What should I do with a bag of carbon I removed from my FX-5 during Pimafix treatment for fungus? I have a 120g FOWLR. Should I just soak the carbon bag in water? Saltwater? Or let it dry? Does it matter? It's matrix carbon and only about 1 month old, so I wasn't planning on replacing it until it hit 3 months old.

Good luck with the treatment. I just treated for Ick using cupramine. I too removed my carbon. I threw mine away, but heard that washing and saving is ok too. Do you know if there is another alternative to carbon?

Toss it. You'd be lucky to get more than a week out of it anyways.
