Whats up with my Condy?

This guy has been doing this for the last few nights. He dosnt do it every night, but he will only do it at night.

As you might be able to see in the pic, he will withdraw his tenticles, all the way inside his body.

Is this a normal cycle, or is something going bad?

I have only had him for a week and a half or so.

Water parems are ok.

That's normal night time behavior. As long as it's expanding during the day, I wouldn't worry about it.
