IME wild caught clowns tend to host more than tank bred ones.

My clown was tank bred and started hosting an acan now it has its own anemone. I was actually hoping avoiding the hosting thing by getting a tank bred.

My wild female Maroon clown is so loving to any anemone that don't survive. They now live in my refugium. I just picked up a pair of tank bred pearl eyed clarkies that so far are not hosting my anemone.
