While I was feeding my fish a worm looking creature came out from under a pc of live rock to get a pc of shrimp. He is about the size of child's pinky. It is pretty fast. Came out to get food and went back under rock once one of the fish came by. Don't know where it came from or what it is. This is a fish only predator tank. 2 triggers, small puffer, harlequin tusk, yellow tang, and adult emperator angel. What could this creature be?

Was it a bristle worm?

Looks like it only has legs on the bottom of its body. Hard to get a really good look at it. Is this worm bad for the tank?

The worm looking creature ended up being a mantis shrimp. I was lucky enough to catch him and now I have him into quarantine tank. He is about 1 inch long and as thick as a pencil. Anybody interested in taking him.
