+1. I wouldn't get anxious and jump to conclusions. Get 4-5 nets and systematically block off routes until you corner the fish. Get into a qt tank and examine him for a few days. Then treat of necessary. Stressing out one fish to qt him is better than potentially nuking an entire esrablished tank

i ALWAYS go with careful watching and observing before i put ANY chemicals or medicines in the tank. it's worked for me for 3 years. knock on (drift) wood. glad he's recovered.
