A few frag pics

Here are a few pics of some of the [acronym:29875e7803="Broken or cut pieces of coral which will eventually grow into a new animal"]frags[/acronym:29875e7803] that are coming along. Nothing is ready for sale yet...most of these will probably be grown into mother colonies. When the first ones are ready to ship, this board will have first choice before they go on the website though.

Orange zoos have a washed out blue center with a yellow oral opening...they look pretty nice. The plugs are about 1 3/4" in diameter by about 1" tall.

I have no idea when it comes to [acronym:51dcbdda02="Saltwater"]SW[/acronym:51dcbdda02], but those mountings really look sharp. Is that a standard or something extra you do?

I just glue them on a rock or reef plug. The reef plugs are made from aragonite gravel and white portland cement using a paper dixie cup as a form. I'm going to try making them look a little less like a perfect round plug though. Got the idea from watching Kymme make drop biscuits the other day. Here's a few pics of the zoos...bear in mind that I'm still figuring this camera out though .
