Hello! I've had several freshwater 10 to 20-gallon aquariums, but it has been about 20 years since the last one. I don't have spousal agreement on making space for something like a 29-gallon on a stand, so I've decided to go with a betta fish in a standard 5-gallon on my nightstand. I already have several questions, and I'm looking forward to hearing about your aquariums.

In aquariums, bigger tanks are always better. And since 20 years ago, there's been a lot more technology and products developed so be sure to look at some new stuff!

Oddly enough, the older I get, the bigger the house, yet the smaller and fewer the tanks. And I understand the spousal thing.
There are quite a few folks that run nano tanks. You just need to keep an eye on them as they are more prone to fluctuations in water quality and temperature.
