Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hi all, I have ventured to the end of my aquarium knowledge and taken on a HUGE project. I have a 240 gallon acrylic and it came with a 60 gallon sump. Our main purchase for this tank is for a 2 foot long arrowana. We want to make it the happiest home ever for him/her but I have no idea what a sump yank is, how to use it or if yo uuse it at all with a 240 gallon freshwater tank.
My hubby will also be custom building a stand I cannot remember the ratio for how much support is needed for each gallon or lenght of a tank.
This tank is a MONSTER and takes up half of the bed of my truck!
It is 2 feet wide and 8 feet long
Any help reminding me is greatl appreciated. The fanciest thing I did was a 29 g with a magnum filter and heavy foliage for a school of zebra danios and that was in college, a LONG time ago!
