A hello from fish_doc

Just a note to say hello and explain who I am. I am from Illinois and have been keeping fish for 9 years this time. I also kept fish as a kid and got them to breed.

Right now I have 16 tanks up and running and another 20 or so in storage waiting for my breeders to fill them up. I currently have a wide variety of fish and have seen many eggs and fry from them. I only keep freshwater fish for now but may expand to saltwater or brackish in the future.

I have my own website http://www.aworldoffish.com and am working on switching it over to a new server.

I got my nickname fish_doc from my family because anytime they have sick fish or fish getting ready to lay eggs or have fry I help them out. Ill be around from time to time I am giving up on a few other boards I visit because I am tired of the arguing everyone does. Mostly about dumb things.

Hello fish doc. Not sure if you moved your site yet or not but I can see it. I recall adding it to the links yesterday.

Glad to have you abord.

Welcome Fish Doc! It's always nice to have more knowledge and experience around! I like your site, too... we have a store locally named "World of Fish".... coincidentally, I think they're the best LFS in the area!

Hope to see you around!

Once in a while I get emails meant for them and I just forward them on. They know my site exists and I know they are there. From what little contact I have had with them I am not ashamed when people assoicate the two of us. Although there is no assoication we have several things in common. We are both in the midwest and have used (with permission) photos from the same photographer. Of all the places out there i'm glad the similar name is tied in with a well educated staff and a quality store.
