I am looking for advice for upgrading my current setup. I currently have a 10 gallon with 4 neon tetra and 3 guppies. I have recently added some live plants. I want to upgrade to a bigger tank. I have been looking into a 30 or 40 gallon acrylic tank. I also want to make sure I will have sufficient lighting for live plants. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks.

Sorry, I can't really be of much assistance with your lighting question.

Hello and welcome to Aquarium Advice!
Some live plants need differet lighting strenghts and timing then others. What light do you currently have?

The stock light that came with the tank. My wife bought 10 gallon combo from petco. I have taken over the tank. I have some anubias and a fern (not sure which kind), but I think the plants I have do not require intense lighting. Any suggestions on tank, acrylic or glass? I have been looking at a seaclear 40 gallon that comes with a 24" fluorescent light fixture.
