Algae eating fish

Hi could u advise me on the best algae eating cold water fish for my cold water tank?

Hmmm... a pair of nerite snails might work, but they aren't fish... by cold water, is your temp less than 70*F?. If so, I'm not sure, and hopefully someone else can help you.

What are your tank parameters, stocking, and how long do you leave your light on daily? What kind of algae is this?

Algae eating inhabitants won't solve your problem.
