Aloha fellow fish funsters

I wold like to intro myself. New to this wonderful world of salt craft. I am about six months into my marine addiction and loving it. A few hiccups in but getting there any tips and pointers will be greatly received. On that note I am undergoing an attack of green hair algae. Definitely my own fault tho as my theory to not do 3 weeks of water changes would promote beneficial bacteria ????. Obviously not, will beefing up my clean up crew be enough as well as extra w/c.

It will but it would also cause extreme stress on anything living that you have in the tank and increased nitrates can and will cause hair algea growth.

Warm welcome to Aa.

Fish die belly upward and rise to the surface. It's their way of falling.
